Sorry to inform you but even some adults (at least by age) need psychotherapy sometimes. Some children cannot handle "any negative emotions" as you put it, and most obviously, the morals didn't come out of thin air. And I'm talking more about RECENT moral studies and such.Veldrynus wrote:Exactly. Children shouldn't be treated as weak, retarted morons who cannot handle any negative emotions.
I didn't say ban, I said a certain rating. And of course, such a picture should be banned from kindergarten, for example.Veldrynus wrote:It's possible that there is a child somewhere who goes berserk after seeing on the internet a picture of kitten playing with a chicken, and killing his grandma by trying to push such a bird down her throat. Should all such pictures be banned, after all, there are people with twisted minds.
No of course not it doesn't relate at all, says Veldrynus the best psychologist in the world. All killers, psychos and rapists do it "just because", especially those who have no clear goal (i.e NOT professionals). They aren't even thieves so money isn't the excuse either. Watch some movies, they are at least inspired from reality (the psychology especially). See what pushes some "psychos" to doing things. Or to kill. Or to rape. Or to hate others.Veldrynus wrote:Right. How does this relate to the censorship of nude pictures on the net? I sense a slippery slope of stupidity here.
Like when the mother of a kid abuses him with pictures... depending on kid mentality.
You say they are crazy and should be locked up in jail? Well guess what: they are crazy because of their childhood memories. It would better to not have them at all than to fix them later by putting them in jail, don't you think?
Not my fault you don't want to look. JollyJoker talked about it, isn't that where it all started, geesh...Veldrynus wrote:Where?
Wait, what? No point in discussing further.Veldrynus wrote:If a child kills himself because he "wants to meet the heroes of Warcraft", then it's OK, we don't want such retarded individuals in our society. Some minds are just too sick, and beyond repair.

I mean, this was an example of what you advocate going wrongly, and since you do not want to deal with the consequences but say "it's for the better" that's like walking away from the bad consequences of some action (go ahead, tell that to his/her parents) without taking responsibility even though you advocated it.
Good thing that the government or all law suit agencies or companies are more mature than that.

Damn, I didn't realize how dangerous those nude pictures really are. Thanks for warning me.

It's definitely indecent to post pictures of Ferraris and Maseratis as well, especially vids of how they are drivng and racing. After all, you don't want the next psycho feel the need to go out and shortwire the next Corvette or Firebird, race a couple of highway miles and then kill themselves and a couple of innocents with a nice little crash.

Those are different because you can't, for example, think of a car as a "role model" or something that someone looks forward to. Of course, one can be abused with anything in childhood.Jolly Joker wrote:It's definitely indecent to post pictures of Ferraris and Maseratis as well, especially vids of how they are drivng and racing. But heck, look at the world we're heading in now -- look at cartoons, they have blood and guts nowadays (I mean, those made for little kids) -- I know some friends who have younger brothers or sisters and how they perceive it now it's totally different, no wonder. Do you seriously think all government or agencies are that dumb? They put ratings (or enforce them) and such for a reason, some of it has been studied as well (psychology)... not sure how cars (or objects) affect it but certainly there are factors that one shouldn't let a kid see (kid = 1-10 years of age).
Anyway I'm gonna stop here, sorry for off topic.

Nope. They just choose the easiest "solutions", that will satisfy the naive people such as yourself, who think violence is modern invention.Borsuc wrote: Do you seriously think all government or agencies are that dumb?
The censorship of nudity has absolutely no rational reasons, and there is no serious study that could confirm its negative effects on children (maybe except that one done by the Muslim League for Moral Purity).
Bleh. I'm done with this.
Of all the chicks I ever knew personally, she is the closest to be my dream girl. Winner of several beauty contests, national dancing champion...
I wonder, where she is now...
