<img src="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/images ... 7thumb.jpg" align=right vspace=10 hspace=10>Celestial Heavens is proud to host the <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/mm7/MM ... MM7Rev4mod by Big Daddy Jim</a>. This mod has reprogrammed the original Might and Magic VII game to include;

(1) an altered game sequence,

(2) ten new quests,

(3) seven ‘heavily modified’ original quests,

(4) seventeen unique NPCs,

(5) modified overland and ‘dungeon’ areas,

(6) an optional ‘post game’ encounter with a unique set of opponents,

(7) a plethora of minor game ‘tweaks’ and changes.

To play this game, you must have the original Might and Magic VII game installed with the <a href="/http://www.fileplanet.com/22720/20000/f ... ">official Patch 1</a> <b>and</b> <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/mm7/mm ... exe">MOK's Patch</a>. See the ‘ReadMe’ file for installation instructions.

Sheesh, now that my computer is broken for the good of mine, it seems unlikely that I'll manage gathering all MM7 stuff someday, most of that with this new mod. At least, it'll be a bit of fun when I get a new computer later...or too late.

Hi Folks. I have downloaded all of the items mentioned above, and I have Might and Magic VII. Obviously I need to install M&M VII first,

but what sequence do I need to install the other items? Thanks for any help you can provide.

What Angelspit said is pretty much what you'll encounter described in the READ ME file that's also zipped in, so you might want to check if you have any problems. Good playing for you. :)

Hm, I guess I'm the first one who installed and started playing it. And right from the beginning I can just say - WOW! What a marvelous job you did, Big Daddy Jim! The very beginning of the game is completerly different - the residents of the Emerald Island, the items (some pics added from MM6 and MM8 sfutt, some - totally new, huge variety of items), the improved or changed item statistics and even NEW dungeon corridors! That's fantastic, a truly new adventure. Every MM fan should install and play this mod. Warbringer

I thought I should pop in to say that *I recommend this mod to any fan of Might & Magic! It is a breath of fresh air to the game, and is worth the time to try out!* Thanks for the MOD, BDJ. It is a great addition to my game.

To anyone who is interested in the MOD:

Install sequence is - [Game] -> [Official Patch] -> [MOK's Patch] -> [MM7Rev4Mod]

The mod may seem a bit easy at first, with the new items, but trust me...the difficulty will increase a fair amount! That said, the new quests/modified quests are interesting, enjoyable, and pretty straightforward. I only had one problem(finding an NPC) the whole time playing through the mod, which was quickly answered by the helpful people in the forums on this site. :)

I was really excited to find this mod, but when I try to run it I end up bumping into invisible NPCs all over the emerald Isle that tell me things about the Dwarves, or don't say anything at all. After that, any time I try to talk to someone inside a building, the game crashes.

I installed the 1.1 patch first, but it didn't seem to do anything except add another autoupdate tool. When I try to run autoupdate, it gives me an error parsing data.

Moks patch seemed to install ok, and then I put the mod on, the results I explained above.

I thought it might have something to do with the compatibility mode fix I did using Application Compatibility Manager, so I tried again with a fresh install and got the same problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? What Can I do to fix it? I'd really like to get this mod working, especially after reading about how awesome it is.

Thanks in advance
