I also heard that CRTs have more radiation (in the form of light not in our visible range)

And I agree LCDs are softer on the eyes. I just hate the dead pixels risk... if not bought already with dead pixels, how can you get them after? (I know you can, but I'm trying to avoid this, that's why I'm asking)

Can we get 1080p on a CRT? That would be another benefit for LCD/Plasma.

We should probably move to another thread. Our discussion is not really random.

When I come home, I will couple my PC to my dad's plasma screen and take a picture of it... showing ya'll how games are supposed to be played. :D

Here's Heroes V on my LCD, taken a while ago:

The TV looks a bit naked without the receiver and speakers I have purchased since.

Heck, I can do that too! Just realized. Darn, and the screen is just next to me. Gonna try it now :D

Go ahead and split. Just be careful not to mess up the whole thread.

If you want to test something without fear of messing up an existing thread, you could also open up a test thread in the Towah... (nice to have access there, ain't it) :D

What's that "Tower"? Is it something like the Mod Squad at HC? (though at least there it's visible for normal members that it exists)

(I mean, a forum where only Mods can enter)

Yes, it's a place where mods, admins and CH Staff live in eternal happiness and peace. Mere mortals are forbidden to enter such place for, well, just for being a mere mortals. :tonguehands:

Can't be public, it's where we backtalk forum members.

Yes I know, of course I didn't mean to be public, I just thought it should be probably like in HC where it is visible to normal members but they can't enter (so that we know it exists - because, for example, I had no clue about it until today - but hey nevermind, don't bother changing it now)

And if there's such a forum why did I read some mods saying stuff like exchanging lots of PMs to discuss privately :?:

Oh right, visible but not enterable... but then we don't really get the opportunity to hint at it's existence and secretness like now.

And if mods exchanged lots of PM's, they were probably backtalking someone with access to the modforum... *dons tinfoil hat*

What's more random then talking about monitors in a thread that has nothing to do with them?! :|

That's not random, it's off-topic ;)
