Yeah, and that's even though it's very small in comparison to the larger, newer shops on the outskirts of town. I figure there are three reasons: 1) We're in the centre of town. When the shop first started up 40 years ago, people called the location madness, but the town eventually expanded south and now we're right in the middle of it. 2) The competition fails. Just four months ago, the shop in the mall across the street shut down, effectively giving us their customers. It's the third shop we beat in competition in eight years. 3) Us. I.e. the quality of the shop's fresh goods dept.
