Just handed in my thesis digitally. Finally finished. :oex:

81 pages... I haven't written anything that long since that time I tried to crack out a novel.. :tired:

No matter how powerful one becomes, there is always someone stronger. That's why I'm in a constant pursuit of power, so I can be prepared when an enemy tries to take advantage of me.

What a sucky week: the little orc has been sick for nearly two weeks, I got a rude email at work which I cannot really reply to, my assignments are late, I'm feeling like I'm about to start a cold as well... Grrr.... :tired:

Wow. That sounds... somewhat familiar. I don't have a kid yet, but my wife has been sick. She find now, but I have the flu since yesterday. I did not get a rude email, but I did get a (new) rude boss. And I can't tell if he's always like that, or only because he's lost quite a lot of money he had in shares, with this financial crises & all. But I do know that for now I'll have to cope with his attitude...

So, what can we do if we have such an address? How can we link to it?

We have to use the % type and write the ASCII code for the respective character.

Here are some ASCII codes:

Yes, that's cool. How much people do you think that it will be using that way? Because I have very bad experience with that, it does look like overcomplicated. Staying in the way instead next to it.

Yes but when you need to link to a site with parentheses in its address (like that Wiki article example) you have no other choice but to use the %28 instead of ( and the %29 instead of ) ... if you want to make a hotlink, that is.

Or actually you meant that you want to "fix" it and make it work with parentheses as well? Oh, my post was just to give a tip to the users, I didn't even intend to "fix" that.

So if it's complicated don't "fix" it... just do it if you want ;)
