Game: Guess the hidden code
So... let's see where we stand.
Have passed the front gate:
- Koni, who facilitated the reunion of Celeborn with Galadriel (brought by me)
- theLuckyDragon, who brought Legolas
Have been refused:
- Asheera with Gandalf
- Kalah with Saruman
- Borsuc with Beowulf
- Lord Lakely with Mr Frodo
- Avonu with Malekith (not yet... perhaps in the future...?) :p

Blast!... I made a mistake - I shouldn't have left Malekith through the door. What was I thinking? Meh... to my defense I'm actually having the flu these days, so I'm not thinking straight. I'll correct the above.
But you have 50% of the answer Asheera.

@Lord Lakely: Not really.
@theLuckyDragon: Not yet; but you can bring him in 2011 and you'll be able to pass.

OH MY GOD !!!!
Exactly, so it's not Lothlorién Elves. But Gil-Galad can get you in.Lord Lakely wrote:I bring Gil-Galad

Avonu's Lunarion on the other hand is of not much use (and I doubt it will ever be, but who knows)
Closest so far. Perhaps the next hint will help:Gaidal Cain wrote:Elves from LoTR movies?
I'm bringing Dobby, and I can get through the second door.
And, as it's a new page, perhaps a short update would be useful.
Got people in: Galadriel, Celeborn, Legolas, Gil-Galad, Dobby
Were not of much use: Gandalf, Saruman, Beowulf, Mr Frodo, Malekith, Thranduil, Lunarion

Yes! That's the one. GC can start the next round.Gaidal Cain wrote:Elves from movies?
(And I mentioned Thranduil being allowed only as of 2011, 'cause then comes "The Hobbit")

the Aeneid was "link us to the greeks who's culture we have adopted", but Homer's poems aren't all that much more based on real event either... sure, there was a place called Troy that got destroyed a few times, by greeks once or twice, but that's about the only thing that has any proof behind it...Avonu wrote:As far I remember story of Aeneid was ordered by Roman officials and was fake (opposed to Homer's poems which were based on real events).
When was Malekith in a movie?! Or Gil-Galad (unless he was in that battle scene at the start of FotL, uncredited)?!Elves from movies?

Malekith was not (I've corrected that in my post yesterday already, so I don't know where you got it from now), but Gil-Galad was indeed in FotR - played by Mark Ferguson.

Virgil, create our [Roman] ancestors that have so amazing stories like Greeks. Oh, and it would be good that we are from Troy.
We are great people and we can't have worse history then Greeks.
And about Iliad - you can read it and find real Troy.
You also know what equipment or ships were used in Mycenaean Greece. And all thanks to Homer's poems.
You can always count on Uwe Boll.Zamolxis wrote:Avonu's Lunarion on the other hand is of not much use (and I doubt it will ever be, but who knows)
