Megadragon was only in MM2, MM5 and MM7 (and HIV).
Here you have pictures of these monsters.
You can also visit this site which contain info about nearly all dragons in MM-HoMM games (update of missing dragons will be soon(TM)).

Back to the topic: HoMM1 dragon for the win for me. He just look majestic, has no real enemies in game (it is hard in H1 slay this beast, H3 and H4 dragons are easier to kill by enemy armies), and you can clear map only with dragons (in next games it is not so easy task if you don't have an army with you).

I never saw HIV megadragon in action but he remind me wyrms from MM6 not dragon (because lack of wings).

Voted: Azure Dragon. The H1 Dragon would be my second choice. :)

Anyway TheUndeadKing, didn't you forget the Crystal Dragon?

Others look more like horrible monsters.

In SNES version Megadragon and Dynosaur look exactly same, dunno about PC.

Actually they can fly... Just play the custom campaign named... Champions ( ;| ). I think there is a place when a Megadragon talks to the hero, and says that they can fly, but it's pretty hard for them, so they don't really do it.... :)

As for the poll... I voted the rusty one, because of the sound it makes when flies.

H1 Dragon: it's purple, and it's really fat. Never liked how it looked.
H3 WoG Darkness Dragon: It's a recolor of the Black Dragon.. uh, looks a bit better than the standard Black Dragon I'll give it that.
H3 Rust Dragon: pretty cool.
H3 Azure Dragon: Oh, I just love that color! I picked this one.
H4 Megadragon: different, and cool.

I like the H4 Megadragon here. I like the fact that it doesn't have wings, and I like the look better than the other choices.
