I find Raven's baldness... intriguing. I wonder if this is the new trend among necromancers in Ashan, 'cause Zoltan is also bald. (But maybe he didn't have a choice? ;| ;) )

I can see it now:
Caution, use of necromantic powers may result in side effects such has nausea, headaches, baldness in humans, and undeath...

Maybe they're related. Or they both suffer from cronic dandruff, and that's how they keep people from noticing.

And necromancy also makes you have black eyes...

Sandro better be a Lich...

And "random attacks from clerics, paladins, and other goody-two-shoes" Though that might of course be seen as good skeleton opportunities...

The thing I like about these characters is that they seem to have some likeable aspects, something you can relate to and have empathy for. It was like that with Gauldoth, and it's needed for any good-guy-player to play Necro. It's not as easy to have empathy for skeletons and decomposing flesh...

@Kalah:

Maybe you couldn't, but Sandro worked as a skeleton for me.

I find it strange that Sandro is mentioned. If he exists in this new world, then other old heroes should be present as well. And I don't really see the logic behind that. If the Sandro mentioned is indeed the old Sandro, then perhaps there exists some link between H5 and H4 (or H3 before that world's destruction), and maybe an add-on will deal with this? Could be interesting.

Nice artwork by the way. I especially like Naadir.

It would be cooler IMO if Necro’s symbol was the featureless mask which is one of dungeon’s symbols (they have featureless mask and serpent) I think that the mask goes better with the death theme than the current spider. Dungeon can keep the serpent.

Does noone get it? Spider is creepy, black, most are poisonus and in some cases deadly for insects and humans alike. So for me its a good symbol for venom and nasty things since Necropolis are built up of around those themes. The faceless mask, well it could fit since necros focus on "everlasting buty" and need to hide their ugly faces, but I stick with the spider symbol, it fits very well :p

Naadir is actually extremely creepy. Just click him closer, and that's how close you will ever wanna be to him- no friendly Tim Burton Scissorhands here- all mean and evil! I can't wait to crush him again and again!!!

OK so who'll start a petition to change the Necro symbol from a Spider to a Politician?

/NOT signed!

Cut the nice Necros some slack, will you? And the spider is better for them, at least from among the current available symbols, just as the faceless mask is best for the Dungeon Elves, who are supposed to be all stealthy and stuff.

Haha. The guy's name is Zoltan, and that girl looks like his daughter and her name is Raven. Zoltan is the name of Raven in the book Gunslinger. Coincidence but interesting one indeed. Well these heroes are all right, but I hope to see something better soon. Well no hero can replace Sandro but... We'll have to do it with what we have.

So many of the undeads are bald, which is quite a pity. I always envisioned vampires as having long, flowing hair and insane sharp-toothed grins, or at least red eyes. And what's with the spiders on their foreheads? I suppose they use them to communicate. :S
Happy Millenium!
