Set bonuses

* » For 2 items: Doubles Mana and Spellpower of all casters in hero's army.
* » For 4 items: Hero moves backward along the ATB bar 10% less than usual while casting any spell.

Set bonuses for Wizard

* » For 2 items: Wizard moves backward along the ATB bar 10% less than usual while casting any spell.
So I am playing Academy now and I am having the four artifacts. It's still says I move only 10% back on the bar. No matter if I have two or four artifacts equipped. Doesn't it should be 20%? Does somebody have idea about it?

Can you do an experiment to see whether it's actually 20% and just misreports? I'm curious too.

I don't know how, that's why I am asking ;)
But after having the full set with a Wizard (Jhora), it still shows me 10% :gun:

I'm quite sure it's supposed to be that way. Bonus for wizard is, that they gain the 10% bonus earlier (and easier, because in all my games I never had all 4 of them).
True heroes don't need a grid.

That bonus does seem a tad unspectacular. Than again, the hero specific boosts seem to vary greatly in awesomeness.

I mean, let's see...

Rangers get a full leveled sorcery equivalent for their shooting abilities; -30% ATB loss when shooting. That's in addition to the very awesome boosts granted by the artifact set itself.

Runemages... Well, ok, their boost is rather unspectacular as well (+3 spellpower when you have 30? O.K...), but the artifact set itself is incredible.

The Necromancer specific set bonuses are pretty great. More free troops and Banshee Howl becomes as good as a mass-cast spell.

The Haven one... O.K., who the hell uses Retaliation Strike? Then again, the set itself is very spectacular, it can single-handily replace Leadership as well as providing it's best perk.

The Warlocks actually get a very sexy boost. They get a boost equivalent to their ultimate ability, which stacks with the said ultimate ability. In fact, this is potentially the strongest faction specific bonus out of all.

The Barbarian one is... fairly mediocre for a mediocre set. The Warcries are almost always better than attacking a target.

The Demonlord bonus is pretty nice. The boost in number of gated troops is equivalent to leveling the Gating skill from basic to ultimate.

It seems that Barbarians and Haven got screwed over on their specials, while Wizards and Runemages got mediocre boosts. The best bonuses seem to have went to the weaker sets; and vica versa. The anomalies here seems Barbarian faction (mediocre set, mediocre bonus) and Necromancers (sexy set, sexy bonus).

Does anybody know why Deirdre in the Duel (which has 2 pieces of the Necro set) casts Banshee Howl for a full turn and not half? Is it a duel bug or it happens in normal games as well :(
No matter how powerful one becomes, there is always someone stronger. That's why I'm in a constant pursuit of power, so I can be prepared when an enemy tries to take advantage of me.
