Heroes 4 is DEAD
Oh I know that you gave up[ with H-V editor, and that's not user friendly, also I agree that it's said that some great mapmakers/community members left because of H-V and it's editor. It just seemed to me, that you wished short life for H-V and, it seemed evil-intended to me.

No, H-V's failure would not serve me or the Heroes community well, its success would by laying the foundation to a solid H-VI. However getting their fingers burned a little by people like me voicing complaints about a poor editor can hopefully contribute to a better editor in H-VI.Muszka wrote:Oh It just seemed to me, that you wished short life for H-V and, it seemed evil-intended to me.

Of course if your, and other people's voicing helps H-VI to a better editor, thus with old, new and good mapmakers, I won't say another word against

I'm not very familiar with H5. But it would be great to see some sort of Editor for making maps like the one Slava made for H4. Before I used the H4 Editor, I found it very time consuming to make XL maps for H4. I really would like to see an editor like H4 for H2, H3 nd H5. It would make mapmaking a breeze.
I guess that was jeff's main problem too, the editor. But I don't hope for such since those projects are long over, though it would be nice (as you said).
