Greetings, the name is Horns.
And I'm quite new here seeing as I just joined yesterday.
But I have been an avid heroes fan and player since
heroes 2 came out on PC.
Getting to the meat of the matter, I posted up a map for testing
for HOMM3 Complete entitled Kordine Isles- Unveiled land (Back-
story below). I wanted to apologize because the version number
says 9.1 in the information when in fact it is 0.91. So sort of a
large difference in version there just in case anyone who saw
the 9.1 actually believed a version 9.1 map would need testing.
I was half asleep when I put together the readme. So if thats an
excuse, there it is
Here is some information on the map:
Map Name:
Kordine Isles - Unveiled Land
Author:
Horns
E-mail Address:
dwarfsmaul@yahoo.com
Version:
9.1 (kidding) 0.91
Map Type:
Singleplayer or Multiplayer [6 Humans Or Computer / 2 Computer Only]
Map Size:
Extra-Large, with Underground
Game Version:
HOMM3 Complete
Language:
English
A short backstory: Kordine is an uncharted land, several kingdoms
discover this ancient gem through their exploration. Little did they
know that it was already inhabited by the people of Aronidine.
Dascvena,Shonri, Dru-Lef, Drayvelith, Galiden are all kingdoms on
a race to destroy eachother to claim Kordine as their own and take
it away from the Aronidine. While the Aronidine, the original occupants
fight to survive in the land that they nourished and brought to life. But
does it really belong to them, or others? Or is it all ruled by a higher
power unknown to all?
I hope you enjoy the map, took a great deal of hours
to create. Any feedback (rude or positive) would be
most appreciated, and testers are most welcome. Please email
me with any questions at: dwarfsmaul@yahoo.com

Kordine Isles - Unveiled Land
Welcome on forums!
Edit:
If you're like me, playing tossily, then do not attack the dwarves. I won, but the losses.
Here's a mistype in text for elves down "Mentor'ts". * The Shipyard on the end of the route is partially blocked. * Ore is quite tighted.

Re: Pol
Thank you, it's great to be here. And I thank you
for looking over the map. I'll make fixes as soon as I possibly can.
As for the mistype "Mentor'ts" which is "Mentor's"
it actually is not meant to be a typo. I provided
the Drayveliths (Green) with an accent when they
speak, they constantly add what seems to be a "t"
sound when they say their "s"'s. You'll probably find
in future event's of their's when they speak aloud
they will do this when they say words with the letter "s"
attached.
And yes beware of those creatures that are large in
numbers, they sneak up on you. : D

I see. I'm so impressed that I would instantly call it 1.0, or 0.99 if you're more reserved sort of being.
Oh man, that map is fabulous. Story driven, cell build, with lots of water and some unique ideas. I can heartily recommend it to anyone. It must took years to create.
PS You probably would be able to make a charm with that thing. Extra portraits are coming from here.

After reading all three story lines, you are reasonably suspected from being a professinal writer. This is excellent map, I have only time to play it once but got Moslori into service, so one more end to spend.

Thank you for the compliments, I'm glad you
like it! That was my goal, to build a map that was
very story driven, but still plenty of room to create
large armies and pursue some epic battles. I tried
my best to make the landscape detailed and not dull
as well.
However I would not call it a 1.0; yet I'm happy you
think it would be hehe. I've been able to play through
the game with most of the towns, but I haven't had the
chance to play through with the Dru-Lef (orange) yet so
I'm sure I've missed some errors since it is such a large map.
Also thank you for a link to those portraits, I was wondering
who the heroes were that you were using.

Haha, thank you again. and since you would reason such
an awesome notion, I won't tell you that I am most definitely
not a professional writer.
And if you get a chance try out purple, that was my fave
when I was creating the map. That is, try it if you like the
Necropolis, I know that some people don't.

Tried it. Looks pretty good so far. A shame there are no barbarian or demonic factions [/quote]
My apologies , if I could've I would've. Its just when I was
done creating what is currently on the map, I realized I didn't
have enough physical space on the map to fit in the other
faction types. It would just be too crowded. However I did insert
the barbarian and inferno factions on the map but they are computer
controlled. So you can still have the chance of at least playing them
on the map after you take them over.
