M&M on Windows XP

help--i am trying to get mm6 to run on my new windows xp system--it ran on my old xp system, and the link to download the windows toolkit takes to a microsoft page that informs me the requested page isn't available. I am a computer numbskull, this is my son's favorite game and I want to get it running. Also, when I click on the link in line #1 for mm6 I get into my own computer which tells me to paste something from the readme file int some other file, but I can't figure out how to.

rmartire, I'm posting this answer in April, so maybe you've already figured this out, but all you have to do is search Microsoft.com for 'windows application compatibility toolkit'.
