H3 fictional hero specialties that I made up. I tried to make them balanced and on par with existing non-campaign heroes.
- Forester: +1 wood each day and +4 attack skill vs Dendroids and war machines
- Quarrier: +1 Ore each day and +4 attack skill vs Stone & Iron Golems and Earth Elementals
- Fletcher: Unlimited ammo at all times, no ammo cart required.
Additionally, dual-shooting units (ie: Marksmen and Grand Elves) now get to stab twice when retaliating melee attacks.
- Garrisoner: Stronger castle walls, and +3 att/+3 def when defending castle.
- Siege Master: Enhanced Catapult aim. Catapult is invulnerable. Takes 25% less damage from moat.
- Enchanter: All primary skill boosts from artifacts enhanced by 25%
- Spy: Does not need Rogues in army to get spy benefit
- Nomad: Does not need Nomads in army to get sandwalking benefit
- Tactician: Gets one additional level of Tactics
- Medusa, Pikeman, Centaur, and Gremlin specialists (no such thing in H3)
- Lightning Bolt and Destroy Undead specialists

Some of these ideas are very good ( Forrester, Fletcher) and while it is regrettable, but also a hard fact, the Hero specialties in H3 are hard-coded which means that there's no easy way to change or manipulate them. Perhaps the WoG folks have something to add. I believe that some of them know Heroes III coding enough to share something of interest with the rest of us.
In a related note, I've always wondered why Dwarves and Minotaurs don't get bonus to their attack when engaging Dendroids, they've got axes, you know! And what about no additional fire damage to Mummies? Those old bandages they wear are pretty much the same as throwing gas into fire.

Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.

Bill Gates on level 80 can provide you with 1 000 000 000 $ per turn.
Bill Gates level 1 will provide you with Windows and excuse that this is best what he can do.
