A script.

Just normally it's not possible.

Well, I'm not going to sound like smart-ass, but I will give the exact sort of reply to others, much much better WoG ERM scripters. (...or you may consult your documentation and ERM for dummies thread...)

Except if you have the right option turned on and captures a level 8 dwelling, in which case you need an upgraded level 7 dwelling.

well first of all what is a script exactly? ;|

also i saw this http://wakeofthegods.strategyplanet.gam ... evel_2.jpg
and i don't think that this picture was a picture of somekind of an unofficial script you need to download...

also its kinda dumb to make an upgrade for a creature that grows in the town if you can't upgrade him in it...

A script is, well, a piece of code that someone has made in order to create some cool effect in the game, If you check the WoG options, you'll find a lot of scripts that comes shipped with WoG that you can use if you wish. Incidently, you'll also find the switch there that makes you able to recruit the level 8 creatures in town after capturing their dwellings. If my memory doewsn't fail me, there should also be an option that allows you to upgrade normal level 7:s to level 8:s, something that for balance reasons mostly is an option and wasn't standard from the start.

where can i find those scripts?are they in the regular options or elsewhere?

is there a script that allows you to build level 8 dewellings in your town or it just enables you to upgrade them without any level 8 dewelings?

also as far as i know the game its already wayyy imbalanced...

Dont know much about scripts but when i want to have 8lvl creature in a town, before starting a map i choose wog options and in "Map options and Enhancements" pick "Extended creatue upgrades".
By right-clicking on the townhall ull get a message of how much resources and money u need for building a certain structure, for example Escatons Crystal etc.. and which creatures it enables u to upgrade.

Well so far there`s no other option. Either you have to write a script, ask someone to do it or wait for some WOG version where it will be enabled.

Actually, I've only reposted it as to not to loose it when we moved the Round Table. As far as I know, it doesn't deal with towns specifically. I'd recommend that you read at least part 1, which will serve as a general introduction to coding. Lessons 2-4 would also be good to read, but not as crucial.

Or you could ask if someone is willing to alter the current etxra buildings script to do what you wish, which most likely would be the easiest solution if you don't plan on doing any further changes,
