6:30 ish Saturday. I have to go to work by 10. *YUCK!*

We just got in over 90 boxes of Halloween merchandise Thursday & Friday. I didn't even go to the gym Friday because I knew what was waiting for me at work. I may not go this morning either. *Lord!* I love getting the new stuff in... I HATE pricing it all and putting it away. After two days of moving boxes around in circles, it's all priced. Now, I get to find happy homes for everything! Yippy Skippy!

To make life even more interesting, I've got some jackass with a play of some sort who wants to bring in 18 people to try on costumes - Today! With all those boxes still piled up in the front and me trying to put things away... I get to deal with 18 actors - no doubt with husbands, wives, children & Grandparents in tow... each with a bloody opinion on the matter.

Just shoot me now!

I'd bet anything that you are more annoyed by the upcoming "operation costume trying" and by it's participants than about the pricing. I know I would be, I hate to interact with drunk & stupid people...

Muszka, you are oh-so-correct! I love my job. I love the costumes... I love to design them, make them, order and even price and stock them. I just hate having to wait on people who can't or won't make up their minds. I can deal with people who honestly admit they can't afford or simply don't choose to spend that much money on things. I detest the ones who obviously can't afford the product, so they complain bitterly about everything.... It's not the right color, it doesn't fit just right, it's not exactly like the one they saw on the internet, yadda yadda yadda... Or, my personal favorite excuse is the customer who hunts around for the ONE thing that is sold out and then laments loudly that they just HAD to have that one thing... They just can't LIVE without it! Oh Boo Hoo that it's all gone... And I KNOW they are lying fakers because if I magically produce one more out of back stock... they get that deer in the headlights look and start back peddling that they left their wallet in the car or some other ridiculous excuse.

I specialize in Odd Customers. Most of the time, I can deal with it. Every now and then, they just get on my last nerve.

"Polly want a cracker", sort of thing?

Bleh, tap was broken, had to drink canned bar... that's like being told at a chinese restaurant that they're out of rice.
