Haven't found any answers anywhere. Why does the thread of Yog's game have a differente text color?

It doesn't. If you visited it it might show up a bit grayed, but that's it.

That's not like that. It's almost green. And I'm visiting other threads which are not changin color. Nothing really important, though. Just wondered why. ;)

Err- maybe it's because you've visited it/not visited it for a while and it thus changes color. That seems to be the most obvious explanation to me, but it could be something else.

The difference in color denotes the difference between a visited and not visited link. It's simply a browser thing. So if you've clicked the text of a thread before, the link will be in a different color. For some reason, the page numbers don't seem to have that style applied to them.

Thundertitan- tLD is correct. That's no way to treat a newcomer.

That link would actually perhaps not be the best way to get introduced to Heroes of Might and Magic (or the realted games- there's a bunch of them). Suffice to say that Heroes is a series of turnbased strategy games in a fantasy setting where you buy armies of fantsy creatures and Heroes to lead them into combat in order to do deeds of more or less heroic proportions. If you have further questions, feel free to ask, but you might wish to consider doing it in a new thread :-)

The forum main page is my homepage. When I start up my browser (Opera), the page is usually displayed with the "new posts" icons activated, but sometimes, it's not. Sometimes, the page displays as if I've just read everything on the forum, despite the fact that I've just logged on. What's going on?

Admit it, you're secretly reading the posts and then not telling yourself about it.

Honestly, no clue. I sometimes experience that if I close my browser, while there's still unread posts, and then start it up again, all the posts are now shown as if I already read them.

Kalah, I've noticed this, too. It only happens sometimes (this isn't my homepage, either). I think it has something to do with when I close the browser at a certain time.

HHHHA! I've found myself an answer! The link color changes when I visit a certain link not opening it on a new window, as I usually do. When I open a link on the same page, the link changes color. If I don't, it won't change the color. Tested already. :proud: Now that my problems are all gone, I can keep eating bamboo.
