Hmm, my euphemism-detector spiked up again... oh sorry, it was just stuck. I think...

I just deleted a ton of e-mails from my hotmail account. There were hundreds of messages there, some dating back to the early days of the century.

Interesting decision to close the Violence thread. I wonder what the reason behind that was... Can't have to do anything with uselessness, redundancy, spamming or something like that - Campfire is for talking, and most of it is completely useless stuff. No personal offenses either.
Must be highly dangerous stuff then, anarchistic in nature, corrosive or subversive or something.
Pathetic.

The rule is "no political discussions" on the Round Table. We overlook that rule from time to time, as long as a discussion is fruitful and not too prone to flaming. Still, the moderators reserve the right to close any thread.

That's a pretty presumptious remark for a thread concerning the real life that found such lively participation - pretty offensive as well. Just what I would expect from someone who actively contributed to that thread with some comments that certainly didn't do nothing to raise the level while oozing contempt out of every pore.

Hotmail? What archaic little world you live in. :tonguehands:

As for the closing of the Violence thread, I also disagree with the reasons.

Just watching Tottenham-Chelsea in the Carlin Cup final... Chelsea scored in the first half, despite Spurs' owning most of the pressure. A minute ago, we got a penalty :-D The assistant referee saw a hands the referee didn't and awarded us the penalty. Replay showed it to be correct. I really admire ADs who have the guts to do things like that. :)

Berbatov (Berbagod) converted and now it's 1-1. Come on you Spurs! :-D

Then do something about it, if you push yourself a bit to start an activity the boredom will eventually go away.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

The american government once again tries to keep us from finding out the secret truth about their intentions with Kosovo. What else?

Yeah, the next thread that get's closed due to becoming pathetic.
It might have been a funny remark if anyone would have claimed that. No one did, though.

Up all night finishing the first chapter of my thesis. Done a bit sooner than I thought, so I e-mailed it to my councellor. Hopefully he'll get back to me with any corrections/additions he deems necessary before the deadline expires at noon.
