Yeah, but we have that word in a similar way to say that's just a short time away - in fact, we don't care much about that sort of difference. We have: "Adeus", which must be familiar with the Spanish "Adiós" which could be something like a farewell. But our "Até", "Até logo", "Falou", "Tchau", "Até mais tarde" are short-term salutations, but we use for farewell as well.
- E aí, tudo em cima?
- Fala! Tudo beleza, e você?

This is an informal way to say things. :D Then, it is not something really easy to understand, you see. :)
-my try for translation:

-Me too.
It's like this (the meaning, that is. I'll translate literally in front of it, which you'll see there's not a good understanding):

- So, what's up? (There, there, what's up?)
- Say you! Everything's fine, and you? (Speak! Everything's beautiful, and you?)
- Very good. I'm Sullivan, and you? (Too much. I'm called Sullivan, and you?)
- Daniel. My pleasure. (Daniel. Pleasure)
- Same here. (The same)

The other way is a formal one. I'll talk about that later on. Now, I must go sleeping. :D

Stimate domnule Muszka, de vreme ce domnul din nord a făcut un joc de cuvinte pe marginea cuvântului folosit de TT la adresa mea, am considerat că un joc de cuvinte din partea mea nu are cum să ofenseze pe nimeni, constituind doar un mic amuzament pentru ambii. Vă invit să înţelegeţi că lumea este tolerantă pe aici şi nu le sare ţandăra din atâta lucru.

No slangs in there, actually. Just informal way. If it was slang, something English-like would pop up: "Fala, bródah!" :)

E la fel de mizerie pe strada ca aici (bine, asta fara cartierele de tigani/cersetori etc), din cand in cand m-ai vezi o masina arzand in strada si totu costa mai mult decat la noi. A, si mai e si plina tara de francezi... prefer mizeria proprie decat ce a altora.

De exemplu, sa te interesezi ce inseamna numele meu. Daca stii istorie, ceace se ved, ar trebui sa stii ce inseamna numele meu.
In plus nu-i politicos sa insulti oamenii, pe care nu le stii.
