I'd say moderate gameplay changes rather than small. The personal initiative rounds have changed combat more than I originally expected. The revamped skill system is a lot funner than three's, retaining a good deal of four's variety.Iswald wrote:Would it be fairly accurate to say that HoMM IV is basicly HoMM III with small gameplay changes at prettier (shinier) images?
But at its core, Heroes V took Heroes III as its base. Moderate changes, but not massive changes à la Heroes IV.
Far too many people speak their minds without first verifying the quality of their source material.
Err...
I need some info upgrade. Is there a demo yet or is it all about a beta release? If it is, where can I get it to play or is it possible playing without any authorization? I'm really lost about HOMM5 right now. Somebody, light my path.
