Hmm, some bantering from me...I'll be taking my driver's road test soon, any advice? Supposedly the place I'm going for the test has a few evaluators who fail people no matter how well they did, anyone ever encounter one of those? In the meantime I'll be off practicing parallel parking and doing math homework...

Maybe it's just me, but I find it amusing that phishers want my non-existant ebay and paypal accounts.

Agreed. I particularly like how many last chances you get before your "account" is deactivated.

Look so that noone is coming from ahead when you wish to do a left turn - that was what made my first attempt go to waste. Second time went well though. And I think storied about controllants who'll fail you no matter what exists everywhere. If you think that's what's going to happen, chances are probably higher that you DO fail.

It wasn't that bad- I had made a few other errors as well that might have been enough to stop me from getting my license that day, and there wasn't a crash or anything like that. It was just the final bar of iron that broke the camel's back ;)

The second day of the recently started Great Depression of Axeoth has passed as the population is still suffering from the effects of this most unwanted event. No one is safe from the consequences.

Inside sources at the Court of Great Arcan report that the Royal Cook prepared turnip salad yesterday for Her Majesty Emilia in an effort to reduce the costs of the Royal Household. Employers are contemplating hiring Golems and as a result several dwarf clans have anounced they're contemplating going on strike and taking over the mines in the process.

From Aranorn, our correspondent reports that the economical crisis did not have effects as serious as in Great Arcan as the woods are full of berries and mushrooms ripe for the picking, so most of the population won't starve. However, inhabitants of coast towns like Dolphin Run are in a bad situation as the appropriate fish-bringing currents haven't arrived yet and the nearest forest is several miles away. A druid from Dolphin Run is reported to have summoned a Waspwort and tried to eat it, an action to which the creature didn't agree. Currently, the druid is under medical supervision, with the diagnosis of food poisoning.

In Palaedra, the consequences are milder, but nonetheless present. Stables have been closed, as the horse fodder is too expensive. Abbeys now charge a fee for ressurection, 10 GP per HP. Various con artists have arisen, capturing Peasants and forging the 1 GP per day generated by them to make it look like old Erathian GP.

From Nekross, our correspondent is silent. Hopefully, he didn't forget that Immortality Potion six-pack at home.

From the Gold Sea, our super-secret agent reports calm weather and medium temperatures, perfect for a trip at the seaside. We can now reveal that his destination is Tawni Balfour's main fleet, where he will investigate the effects of the crisis on pirate society.

Stay tuned for more! Coming soon!

P.S. Seeking agent to investigate the Barbarian Community. Must be resistant to physical damage. Personal Robe of the Guardian is an advantage.

When taking the driver's test, the most important thing to remember is to take it easy and stay calm. Drive slowly, pay attention to things around you (in the traffic), and remember the basics.

Tar and feathering? So barbarous. What's happening with people?

I guess nobody told you that I'm immune to cricket bats. I laugh at them.

Are there other kinds of football? I've heard of this silly game in which you have a elongated "ball" and run around with it in your arms all the time, and that in some peculiar part of the world, it's called "football", though that has to be a coincidence, with football meaning something like "very odd game" in that tongue :devious:
