First I thought it's a difficulty level (which had an orange button or sth).

Then I thought of the Black Dragon (double the strength, double the fun, but a risky way to run, as it's way more expensive than the Hydra and has reduced growth). But then you came with the 'orange' thing...

Could be some spell, but it's too long ago to remember their colors.

Edit: now I saw it's an Editor riddle. Never played with it in H4. Could be some event, maybe even a 'week of' or sth. (maybe it's time I rediscover that game before it grows roots on my shelf)

Zam, you came really close to it in your Edit. ;)

Double the size, double the fun
A risky road to run on.
It can happen to you,
it can happen to me,
it can happen again and again --
Variety is the spice of the game.

Heroes 4

Clues: it's one of tLD's silly Map Editor riddles; it's orange
Not Ambush, Underground, Difficulty Level, Black Dragon, Shrubbery...

Now I remember (vaguely) that H4 had "Month of", so my only guess is that you can set in the Editor either the place (road) and/or the size (double) of the spawned monsters.

More likely the size (double), as "it can happen to you, it can happen to me" - so you can never know where they will pop.

Am I even closer?

I'm still waiting for an answer to my old riddle.

Involves the campaigns.
Involves Necromancy.

P.S.: Oh, and yes, after 6 months, I still remember the answer.

Double the size, double the fun -- 2-tile wide
A risky road to run on. -- riskier because of the above
It can happen to you, -- can trigger for any human player
it can happen to me,
it can happen again and again -- -- can be repeated
Variety is the spice of the game. -- makes games more fun

It's the two-tile wide Event Marker. :D

Looks like an easy riddle... for anyone who has seen a H4 Editor (not me). I thought it was sth like this, but I didn't really feel like installing the whole game just to find the right answer. :p
