Tell that to Cleopatra...

And i don't remember where, but i once saw this thing about siblings that have been separated shortly after birth always being attracted to each other when they meet... so i guess what i'm saying is: if you fall madly in love with someone at first sight, GET A DNA TEST.

Student Arrested After Cutting Food With Knife
10-Year-Old Charged With Possession Of Weapon On School Property

An elementary student in Marion County was arrested Thursday after school officials found her cutting food during lunch with a knife that she brought from home, police said.

The 10-year-old girl, a student at Sunrise Elementary School in Ocala, was charged possession of a weapon on school property, which is a felony.

According to authorities, school employees spotted the girl cutting her food while she was eating lunch and took the steak knife from her.

The girl told sheriff's deputies that she had brought the knife to school on more than one occasion in the past.

Students told officials that the girl did not threaten anyone with the knife.

The girl was arrested and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.

I'd be a little concerned to know that children can carry a knife but this is bordering on insanity.

Interesting, Source of Mysterious Antimatter Found.

The basic idea is that 'stars getting ripped apart by neutron stars and black holes.'
As a black hole or neutron star destroys a star, tremendous amounts of radiation are released. Just as electrons and positrons emit the tell-tale gamma rays upon annihilation, so too can gamma rays combine to form electrons and positrons, providing the mechanism for the creation of the antimatter cloud, scientists think.

From Gamestop:
Russian Lineage II player beats rival...to death
Massively multiplayer online gamers have developed an unsavory reputation in the eyes of many over the years due to their fanatical devotion and often rabid fan base. That untoward perception was enhanced this week, when Russia Today reported a Moscow man was murdered after a real-life confrontation between two rival Lineage II guilds went sour.

After the man's guild reportedly killed a rival's character in-game, the two guilds agreed to have it out in real life. The ensuing brawl left one so badly injured he subsequently died from his injuries in route to a local hospital. The Russia Today report did not indicate whether official charges had been filed, though it did indicate that a 22-year-old man has confessed to the beating.

Russia Today, the English-language service of the government-controlled state news agency RIA-Novosti, also mentions several other recent game-related acts of violence within Russia. A man from Moscow was reportedly recently beaten to death by a gamer from Ukraine in a similar situation of rivals meeting up, and a 20-year-old gamer killed his grandmother after she apparently announced it was time for dinner.

It does not, morons continue to exist as usual and always finding a way to make things worse.

Edit:
Here's the good side. Gamer uses virtual training to save lives What do you know, a guy learned playing as a medic in the computer game America's Army.
He helped rescue two victims from an overturned SUV on the shoulder of a North Carolina interstate. As the first one on the scene, Galvanek safely removed both individuals from the smoking vehicle and properly assessed and treated their wounds, which included bruises, scrapes, head trauma and the loss of two fingers.

America's Army is a fully-featured game that takes players through a virtual representation of real-life soldiering, from basic training to the field of battle. To play as a medic class, players must sit through extensive medical training tutorials based on real-life classes.

Wow there are people who actually read tutorials out there. Good to know that sometimes games can help for the better, so far I'm hearing about self destructive addictions and people going berserk for no apparent reason.
Of course in the end it comes down to what kind of person you are.

In Russia some gamers had a clanwar and 1 died after meeting in RL:

It all started when two clans - the Coo-clocks, made up of mostly students, and the so-called Platanium with more experienced gamers of over thirty - started fighting to wipe out each other on screen.

33-year-old Albert used to spend hours in font of his computer. On the web he had his own clan and a dozen of warriors. Just days before the New Year in a virtual battle his clan killed a member of the hostile Coo-clocks.

Days later the enemies agreed to meet literally face to face in the real world.

Their confrontation led to tragedy. Albert was badly beaten and died from his injuries on the way to hospital.

“I think they have confused the game and reality. And after we buried him on December 31, they continued to threaten us,” Albert’s sister Albina says.

The alleged murderer hasn’t shown regret and hasn’t justified himself. 22-year-old student just calmly explained why he killed his opponent.

'Fools' jailed over bungled robbery

A man who bungled an armed robbery in Melbourne's Mount Dandenong last April has been sentenced to seven years jail, while his accomplice has been sentenced to eight years.

Benjamin Jorgensen of Brooklyn in Melbourne robbed the Cuckoo restaurant at Olinda last April Fool's Day.

The 38-year-old stole a bag he thought contained $30,000, but in fact contained only bread rolls.

During the hold-up he shot his accomplice, 36-year-old Donna Hayes of Belgrave in the buttock.

Both pleaded guilty to armed robbery.

Victorian County Court Judge Williams told the hearing the robbery was a complete fiasco and the two were a pair of fools.

Hayes has already been jailed for culpable driving, and will serve a total of eight years with a non-parole period of five-and-a-half years, while Jorgensen will serve a non-parole period of four-and-a-half years.
