So who wants the National Title? I guess, nobody. We could always do something insanely drastic, like not award the NT. Although I'll hold off on that one for the Wash-Hawaii results.

Well it has happened the BCS is shaken and stirred. Unfortunately for some schools, the title game will go to the two schools with the most fans among the voters in the various polls many of whom that have agendas and will support schools whether they deserve it or not. In any case, it has been a great season and the BCS bowls should be great regardless of the match-ups.

Anybody want to be on how bad the Lions are going to be killed by the Cowboys? I'm saying 56-10.

To lose like that. How depressing.

I have to admit, though, that I love how stupid football announcers are. Anybody who thinks the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event in the world is sadly mistaken.

I would just like the 49ers to win, not that I am a fan but to let New England get the #2 pick (probably McFadden) in the draft because 49ers are inept is too much to think about. :disagree:

3 Teams from the NFC East and 3 teams from the AFC South in the Playoffs.

Go Skins!

Hawaii - Georgia surprised me. I didn't expect them to win, but I was excited to see what Brennan and Hawaii's offense could do. Georgia just had too much skill, strength, and athleticism on defense.

Boise State set the expectations pretty high but you can't expect a team from the WAC to beat one of the better teams from the SEC... ever.

I don't like either Ohio St. or LSU. Both are Eastern and Southern teams. USC could beat both teams anyway, so it's a useless game tp play. But I'll root for the Yankee team. Because all the announcers will talk about is Katrina this and Katrina that. And poor ole' New Orleans. Well, I sent money for their help. Not one thank you. Go Ohio St. But I do love Mardi Gras. :)

Though not a fan, I was sorry to see the Redskin meltdown, they had come so far and against so much. :(

It was nice to see Pittsburgh go down. :D

Wow, both games were great yesterday! I can only hope the rest of the playoffs is gonna be as good.

It's pointless to play because USC could beat both teams? If USC is so great, why didn't they make it to the championship?

And I agree wit the Pittsburgh comment Jeff. Hell of a game though.

Injuries...the damn injuries. They were all healthy when they played Illinois. Look what they did to them! It was an embarrassment to the "fightin'" Illini. Oh well, USCs' opening game next year is with Ohio St. Then you'll agree with me. ;)

When USC was good nobody could play with them, but injuries and I believe lack of focus when the opponent was not considered a threat ie Stanford; then they weren't so good.

If only injuries were a legitimate excuse.
