This still gonna rule...i wonder how are you going to play with thousands of players?Maybe some really giant map with lots of regions?

Let's not forget this is not a charity and someone will have to refund the committed finances in this project - most probably there will be a symbolic fee (per month, per year?) so that part of the players can access some unique features and possibly gain advantage over others, similarly like in Travian. Still, I think, to attract masses of players the game mostly will be free.

The money they sink in normal publicity you'd think they could afford not to do that.

Heck, they could just support it with banner ad money if they're smart about it.

Nice publicity gimmick. I will be more interested in HoMM VI and the Heroes MMORPG. I'll give this a try in the meanwhile though. ^^

Mmmm.. no it doesn't. Looks more like a teaser for a board game than a MMORPG. If they're gonna release it early 2008, why not show us an in-game video instead. Also, I think the "tutorial" sucks, that's not a tutorial, that's just pictures. Sorry, I have a cold.
