JVC Signed Print for Auction

Unread postby Angelspit » 12 Dec 2007, 13:51

On eBay is a <a href="/http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0182380001 ">limited edition Heroes of Might and Magic IV print signed by Jon Van Caneghem</a>. I don't know the seller and I can't be held responsible for his actions (although a 100% feedback 12 star seller has to be trustworthy), but I thought some fans might be interested in such an item. The starting bid is $100 and the seller ships to the United States only.

If you would like to take a look at the original page visit this link:

Hehe I was never very interested in such things. Of course you could say that it has collective value but at the moment there are better things I'd want to purchase.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Yes, bad desicion by the seller to just restrict shipping to the US. It's not like he has to delivery it himself.

There goes my $1000 bid.

That IS fairly stupid, HoMM is pretty damn popular outside the US, and buyer pays for shipping is common in such sales anyway.

Not that I was all that interested (though of course I could afford it easily ;) ).

I'm sort of a Might and Magic collector but this one is not for me. I'd never accept that I didn't win it myself but bought from someone else who did it. Meaning, JVC didn't sign for me.

At least I got FC's siggy on my free Heroes V copy and his visiting card. :)

I wrote JVC a letter asking for his autograph shortly after MM3 was released in 1991. He sent me back a short note with his signature on the note paper that came with MM3. I was very impressed. It is a momento I will always treasure!

That sure beats buying something someone else got on ebay :)
