Anybody can suggest me a nice brand of alcohol or wine (are they the same?) ? Not too expensive, let's just say economical. Something that taste really good but won't get you drunk that fast? And leaves no hangover? I have limited knowledge or probably no knowledge at all about this kind of things. :)

Some sweet champagne probably.

As to the wine they fall basically into three categories sour/half-dry/dry where is good to read dry like a sweet. Because that mostly what it is. Some champagnes are pretty weak, let say from 7% to 12% so these are mostly harmless in small guantity. Of course is not a limonade so after drinking two litters of it you cannot expect to get out without hangover. Small quantity is mostly about 0.33l ;)

That seems to be comprehendible but long.

Ah! So basically champagne contains alcohol and wine doesn't? Would boys and/or men like champagne? Wouldn't it look weak for them?

Evrything contains alcohol!

Champagne usually less but it's accelerated by bubbles, something for something. As for my tastes I would always recommend dry aka sweet type. ;)

***
Let see, here exists cheap but good wines but it's usually caused by a nearby vineyard.

The brands differs in price and flavours some's are delicate some less somes are just acid slopes.

Ultimatively alcohol without hangover or it's eufforic effects doesn't exists, although it's dream of many drinkers, gourmans and degustators. (Note for some people it's not causing euforic mood but rather the're being wryly some of may even start to be aggresive.)

As last point if you are not willing to become drunk you must learn how to consume alcohol, look on russia they are drinking vodka with bacon and they know why. While you eat between your drink you will last longer sober. Also girls are faster drunk because they have usually lesser tonnage :devious:

Hmm.. Ohkay! I'll try to find one, hopefully. Just hope they will like it coz most of the time when I saw them in drinking spree they drink something like this: Chivas Regal and/or Torres 10. So really don't know if they would like champagne. But that's what they requested me, something that won't get them drunk fast and no hangovers :D and taste good!

Thanks Mr. Pol.

I like Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava Spain. It comes in a black bottle with gold lettering. Very inexpensive and excellent flavor. It's one of those little secrets that we poor people don't tell the champaign snobs.

I think males can drink champagne but usually people split a bottle so the drink one or maybe two glasses of it, I think it's more of a salubration thingie to drink champagne.
And I would say almost everything that contaigns alcohol will give you a hangover if you get drunk, but you will get a worse hangover if you drink both wine and beer and strong spirits the same evening, than if you stick to only beer, or only whiskey. Some people says red wine will give you the worst hangover, and I think that only drinking strong alcohol (40%) gives you only a small hangover if I don't drink too much.

And about wine containing alcohol etc; here in Sweden we call everything +32% alcohol "sprit" guess that's spirit :) ; another name for alcohol. So if someone says "I'm gonna go buy some alcohol", s/he is probably going for vodka, liquor or something like that.
if you want something that's low in alcohol and wont get you drunk fast (depends of course, on how fast you drink) I'd go for cider or those already mixed drinks, like smirnoff ice etc, or I'd make a punch from white wine and sprite or 7UP or another soft drink.

So for no hangover and not getting drunk fast - go for something with low alcohol percent, or mix wine with soft drinks :)

It says something about a beer when it has to be served with a wedge of lime in order to hide its real taste.

Some light beers are good, especially with certain types of food, but Corona just isn't one of them... unless you're on a beach in mexico and there's nothing else available.

as Vulnevia said, I find spirits mixed to give the least in the way of hangovers, beer can be bad, wine is shocking, mixing the lot is a recipe for disaster!

I don't know any men that drink more than a glass of champers, and that only as a celebration drink, then they go back to their favourite poison .... I hate champagne, a good white wine is ok, though I don't drink a lot of it, love good quality lagers, and good quality bourbon .... and the occasional yummy cocktail, fluffy ducks are nice, squashed frog shooters, the old favourite B-52 and maybe a tequila slammer

I don't fancy champagne either, though I won't turn down a glass at New Year. No, I prefer to drink [alcohol] when I eat.
