@darknessfood: You tell me. You're the one with the girlfriend. ;)

You could just do both...

I'd better stop before I go into non-PG land though. :)

Aw... :(

Well, I'd say go drink then...seeing as how my dad has me on a tight leash (no drinking until 21). :)

Yeesh, I turn 20 this February. It's like less than two years away! :)

I could use a girlfriend though...
(I'm getting tired of the cheap "you don't have a gf yet? I had 10 by the time I was your age" jokes. I know they're exaggerating, but it doesn't help my self-esteem)

And then others tell me: Don't rush, having a gf is a pain in the @$$!

Who to believe? :D

I don't mind it so much anymore Ceres. :)

(And because of it, it would seem that things are taking a turn for the better. Of course, this semester of my eternal love drama is over, seeing as how all I have left are finals, but next semester...:devious:)

You ever get the feeling someone has a crush on you, yet you can't seem to find out?

Anyways, I'm out, I gotta keep studying...:S

Take care, and I'll see you tomorrow, hopefully. ;)

Although it's appearing like an uncle Sam that wouldn't be right. You didn't recognize him? See the eyes and the ... shell.
(subtle clue: was looking a bit different in first GiTS)

Yes, it's one of Uplift "trilogy". I'm learning english from such "majster stick". Courtesy of David Brin, ever heard of him? His Practice Efect is hillarious. He's writing scientist, something like one could be Corribus.

(However Practice effect seems like done for audience of kids - it doesn't draw it down.)

It's based on effect that if you are using some thing it will enhance, or enchant merely by regular and right applying. (With some mind concentration)

Imagine using a blunt wooden stick for cutting on and on that place in years you would get an extra sharp knife from unknown like steel material. But only if you will be still using it the thing will not became regressing into its original state. :D

Well stick's not best, but for clothes that would work perfectly neatly.

He's having lot of phantasy ;)

Also in antre capitol you would see a rare translation of 'minister to normal speech'.
“Good. We want you to return hale and hearty!”
Dennis nodded pleasantly, automatically translating the politician’s remarks from Executivese to
English. He means that if I don’t come back there’ll be some nasty paperwork to fill out.

“Excellent. You know, bright young men like you are hard to find these days!” (Actually, you
squirts are a dime a dozen, but you’re helping my buddy out of a jam.)

“We have a real shortage of daring, adventurous types, and I’m sure you’ll go far,” Calumny went
on. (We’re a bit low on meatheads this month. Maybe we can use you for a few more suicide
missions if you come back from this one.)

...Calumny gave Dennis a very democratic handshake, ...
It's also featuring a zievatron and pixolet.
(And of course princess ;) )

That on his left shoulder is pixolet ;)
- it's practice effect accelerator. What you would be doing years you can get in seconds with him. Hmm, it's also featuring other stars but I cannot describe whole book. It's his first, or one of first, books. Uplift series is very different. And looonger. (like all series)

Wow! Is that a sci-fi adventure story? Or something different, maybe.
