Sorry, Sandi. I've been busy. Helping my older son fix up dad's house... finishing up these silly truffles, doing laundry, dishes & all the rest. Plus, I've been watching "Tin Man" on SciFi channel. It's a mini series loosely based on the Wizard of Oz. It's a very
STRANGE piece of work... but it's like a train wreck, I can't seem to leave it alone.

Totally random - I went to a new dentist today. I'm afraid I need a LOT more work than I thought. At least this guy seems to know what the heck he's doing. The first thing he wants to do is get my gums healthier, THEN start working on my teeth. He's the first one in DECADES to actually X-Ray my entire mouth to see what the heck is going on. Sadly, my worst fears are true. I'm suffering from bone loss around the site of a break. I broke my jaw in three places when I was 16. I'm now 46 and NO dentist has ever said anything about how to keep the 'sick' tooth over that break in better shape. In fact, the fact that I have a Maryland Bridge has not helped at all! (That's a wing shaped piece of metal that is glued to the back of my weakest tooth to hold in the false one.) Now it looks like I'll lose that tooth as well and need a bridge with TWO teeth on it. JOY! Plus, he thinks I need another crown in the back and that my other old fillings need to be replace.
I sure am glad my mother said that the SHOP can pay for all this work and call it an "Employee Benefit" since she never coughed up any insurance money for me. That's ONE MORE reason my teeth are in such bad shape. I couldn't afford a better dentist. I've been going to a guy who only slaps 'quick fixes' on and sends me on my way allowing the rest of my teeth to go to hell in a hand basket.
-----Rant Over---------- Carry on.
