I'm sure my son didn't catch it from any of you guys... but he was a bit under the weather for our trip home today. Mostly just "sudden bathroom emergency calls" and bad tasting burps. A little of the Pink Stuff got him feeling a bit better.

It's not so bad. Taste kind of like mint flavored chalk. It settles down all those stomach, gas & bowel disorders so you can get on with your life... as long as your symptoms were not to sever.

I used to drink something similar to that pink stuff for my tummy, but it tasted so horrible that even now when I think of it I can feel the taste in my mouth :(

;| What means 'narky'?

..with exception that is the valid word for scrabble, which wasn't what I want from the uncle google.

Oh I have to go shoe-shopping today! I hate shopping for shoes, ever since they stopped selling Dr Martens here :disagree:

Maybe just a little bit to cold and perhaps not that safe this time of the year :D

But I came to the conclusion that I can't wear the shoes/boots they sell here, my legs are to skinny, I need boots I can lace up. It doesn't look that good when you can hide a bottle of soda pop in your boots...

Today I learned arguing before a federal judge, who likes to interrupt council every 30 seconds or so, isn't as fun as I had been lead to believe.
Hmm... where's a trainwreck smiley?
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

He did not appreciate the interruption? :D
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Somewhat, from not exactly clear reason, I don't envy you. :D

It was very hard to make a case with the constant interruptions. Even worse, nobody thought of the flip side of the coin with the open and obvious argument. That certainly made things more challanging. After the argument, he told me that he didn't believe I had a good understanding of the law. It's not that I didn't know my cases and the applicable laws, it's just that I was blindsided by judge's relentless query. I don't blame him for any of it; I wish I had been more prepared.

But it could have been much worse. It's better I learn my weaknesses in a controlled setting where the only consequence is a few missed points, instead of trial where the consequences could have been dire.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

isn't it counsel? anyway that's besides the point, it's all a learning environment and it's entirely possible the judge did it on purpose to disrupt you, to test you :)
