Help with map download

Hello!

Can someone please give fool proof (i.e. for computer retards) instructions on how to download maps from the site?
I can't find the maps foldr to store them in, please help!!

Also are the maps compatible with patch 1.6?

You must create the map folder yourself (it should be called 'maps'), or launch the map editor once to let it create that folder for you. All standard maps should work well with 1.6, but be careful not to pick a map for one of the expansions (HoF or ToE).
