H1 Druid, for the win.

Image

He's one of the best looking units in H1, as well.

Yes, the H1 Druid is a great looking creature. He/she almost got my vote as well. I love the vines on his/her robe The Druid is one of the best troops in all of H1. A very good addition to the Sorceress Castle. :)

Actually the purple dye (scarlet) was made from shellfish in a long and very smelly process. hundreds of shellfishg was squashed to death to make the royaly scarlet clothes weared by the royalty.

Oh, and voted for elder druid. I just love the stag head looks

If only they weren't so gender confused. (that goes for H1 version, as well).

As far as I know, druid is a term used in celtic history for learned and wise, preferably old celtic men (and less or not at all for women). Since the priests had a lead role in their heierarchy (and gerenrally at that age), they were considered wise. This leaded to the wrong belief that the druids were all priest. Also misbelief is the fact that they have anything to do with Stonehange. Even more, it was built in a much different age.

No they are not. That kind of robe was common wear for their time.
HodgePodge wrote: But at one time, they all were lowly priests. :-D
That must be the lowest rank of the priest, when they still don't know, how big is their influence on the anyway stupid masses.
