Update, the model who fell in the hole was actually scrapped up quite a bit. Her left foot and leg were cut and bruised from the ragged edges of the stage and she was walking with a limp when interviewed about it. She said she came out with that "Run Way" walk and never looked down. They aren't supposed to! They are trained to keep the head up, eyes front.

Personally, I'm just happy that she had on UNDERWEAR!

Yeah, I wonder if the purpose of placing that opening is for fun or it did undergo a deep study and resulted that the only practical place to put it is right there.

Or maybe there are other more sensible reasons.
