I'm just interested in what defines a "hairy man" around your parts Ceres :)

I like hairy men. It's -well- manly. I'll never understand the current trend in the US for men to wax body hair! :| Like they are all competition body builders or Olympic athletes.

Many 'non-Causation' ethnic groups lack hair on the arms & legs. It's something that I never really noticed until it was pointed out to me.

Example: A long time ago, my friends & I did a large costumed group of "Paradise Lost" in which we were depicting the 'crowning' of Lucifer in hell. ("Tis better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven.") My friend Brian, one of the most strikingly handsome men I have ever known, was going to play Lucifer. We designed his costume to show him with a totally bare chest so that people would wonder "How the heck did they get the wings on?" He was also supposed to wear only a small pair of black brief 'Speedos' with a long breach cloth, then hooves with fur going up to the knees. While working on the costume, I asked him "How attached are you to the hair on your legs?" He looked at me like I was crazy. I explained "The fur will need to be glued in place. You'll have to shave." Again with the crazy look. He said "I'm half Native American! I don't HAVE hair on my legs!"

For some strange reason... I had never thought about it.

I've even heard that 'back in the day' when racial prejudiced feelings ran high, 'White' women in some Central and South American countries would not shave to prove they were NOT of Aztec decent to get work. But I have no idea if that rumor is true.

My youngest just got indoctrinated into the National Honor Society. He said he's been getting the invitations every year, but never bothered to join until one of his friends said it would look good on a resume. ;|

I guess the "Metro-Sexual" look hasn't totally gone away.

My buddy & personal trainer is naturally hairy but shaves his chest. I keep telling him that I LIKE it better when he's furry. Sadly, I guess his wife likes it smooth. That vote trumps 'net buddy' opinions every time.
