The French page of the official Might and Magic portal (which has gone through an orcish makeover since I last went there) announces an upcoming Complete Edition of the whole Heroes of Might and Magic series. The new package will include (take a deep breath) all games of the series, from A Strategic Quest to Tribes of the East, a three CD soundtrack, a high quality art book with Heroes V artwork, a bonus DVD with trailers, diaries and wallpapers, a poster, a t-shirt, the fan manual, a creature chart, a tarot card game and a Dark Messiah map (as in paper map, not an additional level).

Only 20,000 copies will be released worldwide, in December.

This is nice, real nice. But seriously cant they make the first games (H1, H2) stand-alone withouth having to do a uber package to get emm?

If Heroes V Gold is EUR 47,95, the Heroes Complete will be even more expensive. Since I already own all games, I won't pay that much for extras, that's for sure.

As in "all games of the series, from A Strategic Quest to Tribes of the East" do you mean EVERY game from Heroes I through Heroes V with all expansions? If that's the case, even I'd be interested in purchasing this product.Angelspit wrote:The French page of the official Might and Magic portal (which has gone through an orcish makeover since I last went there) announces an upcoming Complete Edition of the whole Heroes of Might and Magic series. I'd get it if they could make all of them work on Vista (or XP for that matter).

I would give everything to get my hands on the art book. That's the part that interests me the most since I have all the previous games.

So Heroes Complete would be cheaper than Heroes V Gold? I don't get it.

Isn't that a link to OLD h5 complete edition price?!... old edition which included everything AT the time of H5... so no hammers and no tribes.... o and no t-hirts,.. old creature sheets..o and no fan manual... and no art book

I might just buy this, depending on price.
I'm going to be a bit pessimistic here and wonder if the NA customers will even get the chance to buy it. We were excluded from the complete H-V package that sold through Amazon.uk, and now are consider marginal enough to not be included with the first round release for tribes. While it sounds like a good package, one that I normally buy, unless they fix the remaining compatibility issues with Vista, I think I will give it a pass. Though I will wait on buying Tribes until I see the price and availability.HodgePodge wrote:Wow! Heroes complete is announced in France at EUR 79,99, so that would make 112,26$

I'll buy it only if the art book isn't going to be available online, or if it contains a lot of good story stuff. otherwise, pfft.

I've got shoked... now I'm confused...
(since I have i-net only on my cellph.)
What is that 'all games in series'? I mean Heroes of MM and Might and Magic too, or just the previous.
And from where can I order? 'cos even though I'm curious about the price, and I really don't like ordering, I wouldn't like to miss this one.

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
