Mods after 2.1?

Mods after 2.1?

The last time i frequently visited this forum was shortly after the release of the 2.1 patch for HoF, back then there was a huge problem implementing and/or updating the mods, so that the game loads them.

Now i searched the modcrafting guild a bit, but except of some unconfirmed suggestions, i found no stated solution to this problem.
But the fact, that in the meantime quite a few mods were released, makes me believe, that there IS a way.

Therefore please, could someone of you tell me, what (new) tricks and solutions for this issue emerged during the past months?
Because i got back to Heroes recently and play with the thought of trying to update my mods for HoF 2.1 again..... and what about TotE, how does this new addon handle them?

Updated mods for HoF 2.1 went into the map folder as *.h5m files.

They work fine there.

For TotE mods are working again in the data folder as *.pak files too.
