Nasty neighbors can make your life miserable. Sadly, there normally is nothing that can be done about it. Being friendly with the police is probably your best option. Hopefully, they will stop listening to the cranky old goat all by themselves.

Greece. Although a good place to live there is too much bureaucracy. As for the police we were lucky that the head of the police department was curious enough to see what happens for himself. That's should save much annoyance and waste of time.

When we were having so much trouble with the Church people being mean about our Haunted House... I was VERY nice to the City Council and the Fire & Police departments. The fact that I carry them all trays of cookies and cakes for Christmas helped keep them on 'My Side' of any argument. Whenever the authorities had to come speak to us because of their complaints, the general attitude was "Sorry we have to bother you about this..."

:lolu: i remember when those crazy people where i used to play football called the police so many times that they actually came... and we where all 14 or under... they told us to try to play somewhere else at least for that day, so the crazy woman would stop calling... now they put up wall around the kindergarten and the kids don't have where to play at all.
It's funny how it was more fun being a kid when the country was doing worse...

My random thought of the day:

My hand hurts. Writing short descriptions for items that you've just drawn, on a table that isn't exactly at a good height for the task, is quite painful for the hand. My hand cramped up several times during the process.

Electronic Arts just announced that they have "acquired" both BioWare and Pandemic Studios. EA cut a deal with Elevation Partners to buy up VG Holding Corp, which owns both companies.

Here's a riddle: we are moving the offices where I work to temporary quarters while it is being fixed up. I was appointed head of curtain-packing by virtue of the usual method of being seen next to curtains while the second in command passed. It turned out all the curtains needed three boxes.

What did I write on the boxes (translated to english of course)?
