Heroes V Goes Gold... Again

No big suprise here, but a <a href="/http://www.amazon.de/Heroes-Might-Magic ... 112">"Gold" repackaging of Heroes of Might and Magic V</a> will be released on November 8th 2007, according to Amazon.de. The box will include the basic game and the Hammers of Fate and Tribes of the East expansions. It follows the Silver edition that was released last year. It is interesting to note that on the page Ubisoft is listing the <a href="/http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/he ... ">fan-made manual</a> produced by a bunch of community members as an extra feature of the DVD-ROM <i>("von Fans erstellte Spiel-Enzyklopädie")</i>.

Speaking of gold, we can only hope that the Tribes expansion has gone gold by now. The release date on Amazon is still October 16, 2007, so we have less than two weeks to wait. If you plan to pick up a copy on the release day, I wish you the best of luck.

So the gold version wich includes tribes would be out early than the expansion itself... that would be really wierd

Actually, I would expect the gold edition to come out at the same time as TotE, so expect both on November 8.

Cant wait... gold edition is hopefully my next buy.. I hope i will be able to buy it here in Croatia.

while I'm not that keen on the version I already have, I do hope it drums up some more good sales, I continue to hope that a new Heroes will be more to my liking

And I do hope that more good sales will encourage Ubi make some more Might&Magic stuff, some RPG and Action games. And I desperately wish to see someday Might&Magic:Boardgame.

I would expect ToTE to hot the market a few weeks before the Gold Edition.

I've been playing the Mac version, and I don't think we're ever getting the expansions, so I'm going to buy this and run it in Boot Camp.
