He means that you have to adopt kids from a 3rd world country... it's the new "poking a little hole in the condom".

Thank Sandi. I'm not 'up' on current Chatt Speak. And those numbers that you read upside down just loose me totally. Of course, I doubt anyone ever figures this stuff out the first time - unless they just get so accustomed to looking at the typed symbols in a different way.
But then, I'll never forget when I asked "What is that?" While pointing at a : and a ) for the first time. My friend, who was teaching me to use mIRC, said "It's a smile." "I don't get it." He said "Turn your head side ways... No, the other way. Now. Do you see it?"
Gees! I was SO dense.

One of my talk shows was complaining about how today's children are uncontrollable, partly because they have no inner FEAR of adults that was so brutally instilled in all members of my generation and all those that went before us. When we were kids, we were either beaten or 'guilt tripped' into total submission by our elders.
One of the commentators said, "Yes! And it's difficult for children to respect their parents when the adults are always calling their kids to come in and FIX their electronic equipment." She then started whining "Sonny! Come make the TV work. or Mommy's computer is doing something funny..."
So sad. So true. I've done that a million times. *sigh*

Children today?! What, they never heard of the '60s?! Flower power, sexual revolution and all that jazz?! You telling me those people respected their elders wishes or something?
And you really shouldn't teach your kids that respect is only for those that know something better then you...
