Because she'd actualy look good. That's why.
Let me guess, we're gonna get the those cone-shaped boob protectors that look horendous! And she'll prob have a grittier expresion, to go with the more "mature" feel for the game.

Thats great, he was one of my favorite knightsLordHoborgXVII wrote:Orrin is back! As Onir the archer commander, who looks just like him, except with a ...crown?
What's with Ergar and Suog, not to mention Gamnor and Sovereign?
Either their portraits are not up yet properly, or they're freshly made clones.
@asja
yes she does and that is nice!

While ridiculous maybe a bit harsh, it stems partly from their decision to exclude all previous heroes. What is the first word in the name of these games, and what is the one element that has NO carryover from all previous editions. Nuff said.LordHoborgXVII wrote:They're not ridiculously spelled, they're trying to appeal to fans by including at least something relevant to Heroes IV. Of course, I doubt they'll go as far as Spazz Maticus and Eruan Revol, but it's nice to see that they've finally tried to use one of the wonderful, innovative H4 elements, the Initial Random Name Generator, the products of which are absolutely not completely silly.

Prob not a coincidence. Just them picking random words and using them as names. Still don't like'em.

Oh, and since we're on the topic of heroes, notice the look of the Warlock and Wizard heroes on the newly released screens of m&m.com:

They look better, Tribal Raptor for Warlock and Slim-fast for Wizard!

Too many for it to be a coincidence. But just picking random words isn't the best ideea. There's a reason why the word aren't used as names in RL.

OMG religious stuff , a fantasy game shouldnt have any relguious things from our world in it not even the meanings of certain names. Oh...I see it now, I guess this will manipulate more people to be relgious if playing the game in some way, not much but the idea is there. Or it may be just me a conspiracy theorethicangryphonheart wrote:In the Academy, all the following names have meanings in Arabic:
Amin (as in amen), Faiz (benefit), Nur (light), Sufi (one who practices Islamic myticism), Zehir (poison)
Edit: Razzak (one who gives blessings (originally referring to God))
Do you think that's a coincidence?

Sorry, I don't want to be all pedantic, but ... it's HAven, not that it matters, but I just had to mention it...
In any case, about the religious stuff, it really doesn't matter if the wizard names mean anything, because no one is going to notice it in the game. I mean, Heroes is mostly popular in northern Europe, and most people in those regions don't speak Arabic, so no one is going to pay any attention to it. And even if they did, it's not as if the names of heroes had any significance in the game.
Oh, but one more thing. Aren't the Wizards supposed to be all aetheistic and scientific? Quite odd to give them those names then...
But it doesn't matter, so never mind.
