M&M & Haste bug.

Hi again.

Now i know the original version of M&M 7 had a nasty haste bug and i hated it. once hastened by a spell/scroll u couldnt get hastened again, except for a potion.

ANd i know the MOK's patch and whatnot fixed that.

But ive got a sufficiently advanced game thats suddent been afflicted with the haste bug again, and i dont have a savegame thats before the bug manifest itself.
Party is around lev40. No idea why the bug returned.
Very frustrating.

ANyone know of any 'fixes' besides starting again or going back to a backup save from yonks ago?

If you have original version, them maybe you should install patch 1.1? It is on FilePlanet (and probaly on other sites too).

But personally I don't think it would be work. Problem which you mentioned sound to me similar like problem with "jammed" zombie or human "look" after reanimating lich or game characters in evil temples.

Try to use savegame editor and turn on and turn off "haste effect" in party (ex. active spells bar in MM7CHE editor). Maybe it "unlock" this spell and his effects?

BTW - look what they added after R-click on map or minimap in MM7 1.1 patch:

Yes, ive got the 1.1 and moks patch.
Ive had a few other MM7 games and none of them have been effected, just this one.

And its only just now on this save too. was working fine earlier.

As far as i can tell theres a bug with the hour of power spell...
using the plain haste spell doesnt seem to incur the same difficulties.

the game will stuffup when i cast hour of power, then the haste part expires first, i do cure weakness on all my chars, then try hour of power again and the haste part never works again.

But also haste seems to occasionally stop working with hour of power when i visit a new map.

Played MM7 game few moments ago and I think it isn't a bug.
I couldn't cast Haste spell again after previous ended. But know what? When I cured my weakened characters, I could cast this spell again. So when charcters are weakened, haste doesn't work.

If it not working for you, try use savegame editor to "repair" your savegame - activated haste spell effect. Or try reinstall game (backup saves).
I don't remember now any other posible way to fix your problem.

EDIT:
I see you already tried cure weakness + haste and it didn't work.
