Fleet of foot works better yes in retreat and in hit-and-runs. If your Guardians get engaged fleet them out and start shooting your enemy.

Yes it's true and no, there won't be Tyranids.

So it looks like relic is doing it, but without someone to post the original leaked article nothings certain.

We can only hope Relic is making it. It's cool the Dark Elves are being put in, but it would be nice to get the Tyranids. And if they really wanted to blow our minds, they could throw in the Sqauts. That'd be unexpected.

Yeah, i can see that happening... you're fighting the Tyranids at one point, and it's not going well... when all of a sudden they all get indigestion and puke out o few Squats each...

And YES, the 2nd race is Nod... or the Adepta Sororitas, can tell for sure (i hope that's a fake rumor, there are already enough modified Rhino's in DoW already).

I am totally stoked about this news. I wouldn't mind the Witch Hunters but I'd rather have the Tyranids. Two armies are enough for the Imperium.

About Soulstorm - So far there are 2 things that doesnt sound good to me.
a) its not developed by Relic
b) flying units

but I'd rather have the Tyranids

I'm sure Relic will have some oversight on the new expansion. As for the flying units, if they are handled like the vehicles, I'll be just fine.

the reason why they didn't make 'nids is because the wanted them to have a unique economy which they said didn't have time to implement... the whole thing with the engine is BS, as i already posted a vid of a Gene-Stealer from a mod.

Oh, and i had this ideea about Tyranid economy too, inspired by this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyranid_Ge ... 0%2C000%29

They only have one resource: Biomass!
To get it they need to build Digestion Pools, which are equivalent to the other races power sources... on strategic points they build Spore Chimneys, which increase biomass production at the existing Digestion Pools (if the pools are destroyed you get no biomass)... and they can also get some biomass bonuses for killing enemies.
The Capillary Towers could be a tier 3 structure that speeds up build-times or something.

You can put any 3d model in existing engine (assuming it has similar params), and thats what we saw in that video, so when devs talked about engine limitations, I think they had something else on their minds.
