Help me plz,my equilibris cant run under my windows2003

whenever I run h4mod.exe,it will show a window.it says:
h4mod.exe - application error

"0x00400860"cant be "written".
if u want to abort the application,press"confirm".
if u want to debug the application,press"cancel".

I am a chinese,I hope u all can understand my "English".

Sounds like memory error, clearly.

Things which you may try...
* redownload h4 equi files from here
* look into your graphic driver settings and decrease acceleration value.
* switch off enhanced graphic options (thing like DualView)

Never heard about such error so I suppose that it won't be win2003 specific. I cannot bet for chinese version though. (if you have also chinese h4, it may be one more complication)

yesterday I have reinstall xp on my pc,now it works perfectly.
I have checked my graphic driver settings,but cant find where to change DualView.And I also found that in my settings window it had 2 screen icon.I have a screenshot.


btw:My heroes4 is English version.

That DualView was only example. Dunno if I know where it's exactly hidden, but if not here it can be under Advanced Settings. Omega drivers sounds good too.

I run HoMM-IV with Equi on Win2k3 EntServer. I just installed everything step by step, no special tricks were used.
