I enjoy the movies. But then, I try to 'support' any decent movie adaptation of a Sci/Fi or Fantasy book. I'm still pushing for movies of Anne McCaffrey's Pern. If they are SO darned afraid of the homosexual relationships among the dragon riders - even AFTER Brokeback Mountain - they could always just skim over that. Heck, Anne didn't even admit to it until about the 3rd book. She just mentioned that "Townspeople thought DragonRiders had strange and unspeakable habits..." We didn't know for SURE what those 'habits' were until much later in the series. The way movies leave things out - there is no reason to even bring it up.

Me either. The first one was released simultaneously to the first LotR movie, and there was just no comparison. I thus assumed that the rest of them wouldn't be worth my time.

I hate it how people have suddenly started to revive old cartoon/comic franchises into movies. Every one of them I've seen sucked, so I'll just attach the "auto-failure" tag on Ironman.

I quite enjoy most of them, so I'm waiting for this, and spidey 3 is out on DVD, so will check that, and FF2 as well .... I think that's out, or out soon

I must be a cross between the two. And there was actually one good movie imo, Batman, I really felt like it restored it to something serious like batman should be (rather then having a constant stream of jokes for 8 year olds in the previous films).
