Some things are not easy to come to terms with and there's no guessing how it could have been.. Relief? What you expected? Trouble? You can't be prepared for everything.

I agree.. I always go with my gut instincts and this method works great for me, but the irony in my situation is that due to the nature of my reasoning I do or say very little things that I end up regretting, in fact apart from this screw up, if I could go back in time and change what I say/did there wouldn't be much to correct.

Hmm... sounds like there's a woman in this story.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

there almost always is :D

great story Letty, who doesn't love an Aussie and his accent? ;)

Infiltrator - those moments happen to everyone, there are always some regrets, and you get over them, but occasionally you'll have those, "What if ...." moments

Since there seems to be a theme of alcohol related stories I've got another fairly decent one

This was at a post-ball (prom) party .... at a mates house, maybe 10 guys and their "dates" for the ball were there, people were drinking dancing etc .... I was drinking that most disgusting of fairy piss drinks - Southern Comfort .... and I had already had too much, I was drunk and having a great time, but I needed some water - AHA - a glass of water, 3/4 full just sitting on this table waiting for me to drink it .... so I skulled it .... all .... .... .... .... it was straight gin! Now what demented fool would leave a glass full of gin lying around??? suffice to say about 20 minutes later I was passed out on the lawn out the front

that would be a reasonable end to this story right? but it isn't .... I have no idea how much later it was, but I came to to find a woman straddling me (we were clothed though) and I realised we were making out .... it took me some time to realise that it was someone elses date - she'd been keen on me for a while, but i was not interested, I must have been kinda sloppy cause at one point I remember her asking for "no tongue"

anyway I think I remember her leaving and I fell asleep again, at around 5am in the morning I dragged my sorry carcass into the house and crashed on the sofa, most other people were asleep or watching a movie .... I woke up at maybe 10am, nothing was said ....

:D

Nice story asandir, maybe I should try getting really drunk sometimes :D . I have been to countless "drinking occasions" but I never, even once got really drunk.. I had that funny feeling sometimes but I was able to walk drive etc. :)
