A special rank in 1066 posts, you probably missed it.

Recently I saw queen of the damned. Wasn't bad though when I checked the storyline in the book I was surprised it was so changed. VERY loosely related and of course inferior. What can I say maybe I preferred Tom Cruise as Lestat :D

not really

the books are heaps better, I really liked them, and I didn't mind the guy they chose for Lestat - wasn't a huge fan of TC for Lestat .... but that's probably because I read the books first and he didn't really fit, Brad Pitt on the other hand was good as Louis

Yeah, I hope so. But he looks so happy that I had attained that special rank. And seems to be thinking of something.

At long last I've gotten around to get the Transformers. I'm a big fan of the cartoons.

Well, the movie sucked gargantuan donkey balls imo. Here's a copy paste of my post from another forum where we cuss like hell (I'll cover the profanity):

1. Why the **** is Optimus a wimp? He was never portrayed like that and here Megatron basically wiped the floor with him. In the end some Raptors nuke the shit out of him but the final clash was pretty stupid, I expected a good fight but it was just as Megatron said to the "It's just you and me" Optimus line - "No, it's just me".

2. Product placement .. way too much of it, not only cars, ok we all love Nokia but cut the **** already, anyone could have got the funds for a movie with that much advertising.

3. Stupid humor.

4. Horrible acting by everyone.

5. Story wise it sucked. They constantly retell the same shit all over again, there are a crapload of holes and stupid explanations (every bit of tech came from that cube, COME ON) and the funniest part is that in the end when the beat down Optimus yells PUT THE BOX IN MY CHEST!! PUT IT NOW, but then megatron is like ITS MINE then the kid just sort of holds it, megatron comes, absorbs it and.. he dies - the end? WHAT THE ****!? Oh and I loved how they "hid the evidence" and then revealed the deepest part of the sea to us, very national geographic of you, but hey, robots fought in a city for a ****ING HALF AN HOUR, I'M SURE THERE ARE NO WITNESSES!

6. That greatest hacker in the world fatso, oh that was just golden, especially with the rainbow puzzle solving virus.

Good parts, 2 of them:

1. The girl is hot

2. The CG team did a great job modeling and animating the robots..

You do know Transformers were created for the sole purpose of selling toys, right?!

But these guys really need to think of a better way to put advertising in movies, right now it's just so in your face that it hurts.

Saw Meet the Fockers on TV, a little late I admit. I'm not sure if it's better than the first one as many people say, but it was very enjoyable. Great acting from all the parents, which compensates a bit for Stiller (who always seems to play the same character).
