That's strange. If that was in school I could understand because a good part of our professors were not even teaching the object of their studies. You asked the biology professor something and she had to open the book to answer when you already had done that and had something deeper to ask..

Maybe she wanted to say something else?

Exactly!

But, I brought it up because she seems to do that a lot... ;|
Not only that, but her explanation abilities are sub-par and she could cure an insomniac with her conferences...:devious:

I was so bored today that I used my calculator to "talk" to the classmate next to me...:D

And to think, the test is on September 7...:S
I'm going to have to photocopy the relevant material and study THAT instead. Listening to the professor is no good...:disagree:

Nice one :) Unfortunately no matter how good knowledge you have on something your ability to teach it is another story.

Aww, IX was good. But it was at this time I stopped playing console games (had my Playstation for 5 years, the laser was shot, the controller slots was shot, the anntenne slot was shot... it was well used ).
fair enough - it was a decent game in it's own right, but much as TT comment shows, even one of the "worst" FF's is a good game, it's just in comparison to VII that they pale ....

QFT. :)

Anyways, I took the Calculus test. Was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Expecting a B or an A....crossing my fingers for that A! :D

You don't really know something until you have successfully taught it to someone else. I took quantum mechanics twice in a classroom, and learned that I didn't really understand it until I had to teach it myself.

Of course, you have the mad explaining skillz!!! :hail: ;)
You wouldn't like to teach over at my university would you? :D

My Chem professor has been teaching the same course for a while...and doesn't even know anything relevant about the periodic table...or much of anything else...

Me thinks she's brain dead...

There's an impressive thunderstorm going here :) It's not in the immediate vicinity but I can see the lightings just as well. I thought I'd study a bit for the afternoon but I'll pass.

Wish me luck guys! I'm going for my first 'Glam Photo Shoot' with some friends to get head shots taken. Mostly, it's going to be a bunch of ladies playing dress up and one guy having fun taking photos. Fun part was, he actually GOT AWAY with telling us all to bring 'pretty bras in black and white - no sheers' and we all said "OK! Heck, gotta go BUY one..." Hopefully, I'll get a new avatar out of this.

Cross those fingers for me when you're not typing!

Thanks guys! I think the shoot went pretty well. Bob's very good at making us old fat broads look good. He should have the pics up on his website soon.

OK - I have a random question, there still seems to be one Round Table Ranking that is yet to be found .... and since I've passed the 10000 mark, I'm wondering what the hell it could be .... by looking at the rankings thread the only question mark is 1500-? Round Table Hero .... anyone dare to guess how many posts you'd need to hit that last ranking?

I'm curious about Znork's special title, Forum Mascot. Is there a story behind that?
