I wonder if the new threads will make her less of an idiot?
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Wishful thinking. ;)

Biara should've stayed Queen of the Griffin Empire...:devious:

That outfit looks a lot more practical than her clunky Queen attire from Standard and HoF. :)

The *Old* Clothes of Isabel

Unread postby Zamolxis » 19 Aug 2007, 00:06

@-thing: Totally agree with you on all (this Isabel being prettier than the one in the game, the regret over the beta Cleric, Treant, Rider etc)

@Kareeah: LOL. Well, I guess they didn't have conditioners in those days. :)

@Elvin: Thanks for reminding us the beta hiring screen. I guess they went progressively from bad to worse, as the alpha screen was in a way even more impressive.

I googled it a bit, but couldn't find a better link than this:

http://www.vagabondteam.com/modules.php ... ge&pid=136

(see down the page, above the picture with Rob King & Paul Romero)

It's not very clear in those shots - and maybe it's a matter of taste - but the larger hall and those high pillars made the screen somehow more impressive than the beta one.

Very cluttered.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Well, I'm not saying it was perfect. It was just an alpha. But I would have prefered that they worked on that, i/o replacing it with what we have now.

Maybe, if they give +6 to Int and Wis!

I hope the Isabel we have now stay as she is, I wont see this alpha queen be dumbified. Maybe this old Isabel skin could be Freydas or Duncans sister? That could spice things up a bit plotwise.

Maybe but the plot has taken an epic turn that faces more on the events.

Perhaps this is the TRUE Isabel? The one whom we lead in the game is in fact an imposter who was so much in love with the King that she threw this one into a prison cell in midst of a desert where Zehiir shall save and marry her?

A 'logical' anticipation of events according to what we've seen so far

@Elvin: Then you shall be punished!

Logic has no place in the HOMM5 universe!!! :D :devious:

That would be an awesome sequence of events though! At least, it has some plot twists. :-D

You are mistaken but I forgive you. The reasoning they follow is the famous 'Nival logic' that often clashes with reality and conventional thinking whose most prominent feature are plot holes.
