Right, there is the "Weather" thread for that reason.

Chill, Kalah. We're just having some fun.

Trust me, right now, my life is such a mess, I need a little stress free 'release' and this is it. So do a big favor for an old friend, one more time. K?

Love you. Mean it.

Santos: "Tell Josh to chill."
Donna: "Josh, chill."
Josh: "Er... did you just tell me to chill?"
Donna: "It... would appear so."
Josh: "Is it somehow not clear that I'm your boss?"
Donna: "Congressman's recommendation."
Josh: "Oh."
Donna: "To which I heartily concur."
Josh: "Yeah, I don't think you'd tell me to chill."
Donna: "I've been wanting to scream it for six years."
Josh: "Whatever inhibition prevented you, summon it."

I would KILL someone if I could locate the source of this new, major irratetion in my life! Apparently, my home phone (land line) is the SAME NUMBER as some long distance dialing company +/- a few digits. This calling card plan is apparently very popular among Mexicans as we JUST KEEP getting these phone calls from men who don't speak English, they rarely say anything at all when we answer, but they call over and over and over again. Sometimes, the same man will call 6 or 8 times in a row. It's gotten to the point that I don't answer my phone, just let the machine get it. But sometimes, like right now, when my son is at a friend's house, I would LIKE to answer the phone incase it's him trying to get a ride home. I don't know what to do about this mess and it's making me crazy!

Nothing quite like getting out of the shower, finding your dog with a critter in his mouth that appears to be dying, and then having to ice it with a shovel. Fun freakin' times.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

better that then a leg in it's mouth and having to find the rest :)

my current "job" ;) is ending cause they are downsizing basically, though it's a little more complicated then that, they are basically closing the whole centre down

That reminds me of a time a neighbour's dog got out and viciously devoured a cat. It was not pretty.

Yuck! Omega, I can relate. At least my dogs are pretty efficent about killing the things they find so I don't have to do it for them. The other night, my husband was out on the back porch grilling some steaks for us when the dog came out of the 'wooded' area in the back with an old dead thing in his mouth and started eating it. The dog had this "Oh yeah? I got some meat back here I as saving for a time just like this."

The dogs have killed a squirel and a rabbit this week. We're in the middle of a heat wave and a drought. I have no doubt that those poor little furry critters braved my dogs to try to get to the dog's water.

On my uncle's place there was a cat that had brought a living mouse in the kitchen to leave it before its kitten :) The mouse would run away and it would get it back it was an amazing sight :D

Well, dear, if they keep calling, it looks like it can be the same people, but they just don't get what you say, as well you don't do either about them. Why don't you learn some few Spanish words saying: "It's a mistake. This number is not what you want. Stop calling us or I'll curse you into a very rare gnome, pink, girlish gnome."

That should do. :D

Oh, and when I call you again, I'll speak English as best as I can. You could think I'm a Mexican. ;)
