Saw 300 today. Sort of silly, but I was entertained.

Ah 300. If they took out the slow-motion, the movie would only be about 40 minutes long.

I found all those "monsters" quite stupid. The movie makes it look like the Persians were a freak show.

300 is quite impressive for me (maybe i am a little young so i enjoyed it)

bad move, reviewers are a dodgy bunch! you'd rarely get to see an action flick

Some hate action movies for being 'shallow' but in any case I can tell from experience that what they hate I may well like.

yeah, they can be shallow but i juz watch them for the big explosions and car chases.

If you read several reviewers and find one or two that you usually agree with then let them guide you. Unfortunately most reviewers are looking for some social redeeming value or underlying message, and many of us just want to have a good time and not feel the time spent watching a movie was wasted.
