Bungie used to be independent. Unfortunately, they are now under the yoke of Microsoft, and seem to only focus on making Halo games (I want Myth back!!).Orfinn wrote:
The only really costumer and independent giants I love out there gotta be Lionhead and Bungie, they do it great! They could kick Nival, Ubi and EA ass anytime.
As far as an EA takeover, this wouldn’t end well. Whatever we may think of Ubisoft/Nival, EA would be a lot worse, IMO.

That describes quite well the atmosphere on most Internet forums and blogs these days. Other people do this behind the wheel while in traffic, thanks to the safety their cars provide them.HodgePodge wrote:Yeah, that's what topics like this are for … helps me to relieve all my animosity towards UbiSoft & Nival. As far as I'm concerned, UbiSoft & Nival can go the way of the dinosaur! I, for one, would welcome anything which would curtail the arrogance of UbiSoft and their äss wipe develping company, Nival. As long as EA doesn't pick Nival as its game developer, I'd be happy! [/b]
I for one enjoyed Heroes V for the time (it was too familiar, but maybe Tribes of the East resparks my interest) and Dark Messiah was blast to play. Not to mention new Prince of Persias and Rayman 3 were great games. All of them released by Ubisoft. As for EA, I only got few Maxis games.
"These days"? I'd say it has always been.Angelspit wrote: That describes quite well the atmosphere on most Internet forums and blogs these days. Other people do this behind the wheel while in traffic, thanks to the safety their cars provide them.
